A Math’s teacher gives 4th standard students to solve a problem from the 5th standard syllabus. When the students fail to solve the problem, they are badly beaten up by the teacher. The students resolve to raise their voice against this injustice and complain to the School principal. Consequently the errant teacher is dismissed.
A teacher blatantly discriminates against a student from a “lower” caste and beats him up unnecessarily. The student discouraged by the teacher’s behaviour decided to discontinue with his studies.
A drunkard teacher used to beat up his students on trivial matters. Once in his inebriated state he badly beat up a student for not properly understanding what he taught in the class. The student got badly injured and had to be admitted to the hospital. The teacher regrets his action and feels sorry for the student
A training camp arrives in the village of Gorakhpur. When volunteers of the camp asks a woman to send her daughter to the camp, she refuses saying that investing in a girl’s education is worthless as she ultimately has to settle down in her in-laws home after marriage. The volunteers explain to the woman that gender discrimination is unfair and everyone has a right to education. The woman sees reason and decides to send her daughter for training.
A woman, after her husband’s death, is turned out of the house by her brother in law. The woman rues had her parents not kept her uneducated on account of her being a girl she would have been able to take up her own responsibility today. She resolves not to discriminate against her own daughter and decides to educate her.
