The blog illustrates these voices in the form of videos, cartoon strips, animations, and radio jingles created by the children themselves. Learn Without Fear is a global campaign to end violence in schools by Plan International, taken forward in India by Plan India, a Child-Centred Development organisation that aims to promote Child Rights and improve the quality of life of vulnerable children. Plan works in 13 states in India and has directly impacted lives of over a million children and their families since 1979. However well intentioned we are, the recommendations will be difficult to implement successfully unless one does away with the atmosphere of fear - not by talking, but by doing. Unless this program invests in music or sport as a catalyst that draws together kids & teachers and creates a supportive environment - I'm afraid nothing may change, esp in the govt schools we're trying to reach.
